EDITORIAL: Masculinity with a Touch of Femininity

"I chose to do this shoot to oppose society's toxic definitions of masculinity: that a man is less of a man because he slaps some lipstick on... that a man's masculinity should feel threatened by anything remotely feminine; that femininity exhibited by a man (or even a woman) is deserving of ridicule. I believe that something as simple and inconsequential as makeup does not influence who I am as a man or who I am attracted to. For many people, makeup is a form of art and self-expression... Makeup is not a reflection of anyone's gender identity or sexuality; furthermore, makeup does not and should not diminish the masculinity of a man."
